The Nadler estate is located in the heart of the Carnuntum wine growing region.  In its third generation, it is Robert Nadler who manages this family venture.  The vineyard, founded in 1940, extends approximately 6.5 hectares and exemplifies a culture of total respect for the local biodiversity.

 

Located southeast of Vienna, the vineyard encroaches the base of the Leitha mountains which separate it from Burgenland.  Here the hot dry climate, especially near the border with Burgenland, is representative for this area.  It produces very interesting red wines, some famous, and Carnuntum has become an archaeological park.
